With the help of this list, TING

carried out to the best he could the destructive work.

Consequently, a total number of 14 organs were raided. X

So far over 60 of our men have turned over to the

Puppets. Quite a number of our subordinate men and theirs

know each other, but do not accost each other when meeting

in the streets. In fact, they can search and arrest our

men, but there is a sort of understanding whereby both

parties will remain on the defensive unless attacked upon.

Therefore, although we have more than 1,000 men in Shanghai,

secret service work is almost at a complete standstill.

When TING and WONG turned over to the Puppets,

they gave the Japanese information concerning our secret

service organs in Formosa, Korea, Amoy and Kulangsu, and

therefore quite a number of them were raided by the enemy.

information given us by CHIANG FUK TIN of the Police in

French Concession, who came to

know of it, the number of

places raided will be much bigger-

perhaps, the whole lot will be caught in one net.
